＼展示のご紹介—Spotlight on the Exhibition／

国際芸術祭「あいち2025」参加アーティストの佐々木類さんの展示の様子をお届けします。
作品は、瀬戸市のまちなかの旧倭国鉱泉でご覧いただけます。倭国鉱泉は、まちの銭湯として人々の憩いの場となっていましたが、2021年に閉業しました。

佐々木類さんは、その土地の環境や人々の暮らしに結びついた植物に目を向けることで、場所の歴史や記憶を手繰り寄せようとしてきたアーティストです。

何度も瀬戸に通ってリサーチを重ね、地元の人たちとともに季節ごとの植物を採取しました。浴室には、それらの植物を封じ込めたガラスがまるで人々の記憶を宿した亡霊のようにひっそりと佇んでいます。
不変で半永久的な耐久性をもつガラスを用い、褪せてゆく記憶や感覚をとどめようという思いを込めています。

We’re delighted to share a look at the exhibition by Sasaki Rui, a participating artist in Aichi Triennale 2025.
Her work is on view at the Former Nihon Kosen (Public Bathhouse) in Seto city. Once served for many years as a place of relaxation for people, the bathhouse closed its doors in 2021.

Sasaki Rui is an artist who has attempted to recall the history and memories of a location by focusing on the plants linked to the environments and lives of the local area. Sasaki has visited Seto numerous times to conduct research, collecting plants of each season together with local residents. The glass enclosing these plants stands solemnly in the bathing area, like a spirit inhabiting people’s memories.

By using glass, a material known for its permanence and resilience, she is incorporating her aim to retain fading memories and senses.

神咒神威神楽 + 曙之光 クリア！

Diesが和風化されて短所が改善されたバトルADVって感じ。序盤から熱い展開。結局、まだ謎が多い前半は一番楽しめたかな。主人公たちはカッコよくて行動力高く、俺好み。好きなキャラは覇吐、夜行、竜胆

分かりづらくて全部理解したと言ったら嘘になる。まあ、正田先生の作品なのでそれは覚悟の上だった。短所を挙げるとすれば、やっぱりギャグと日常シーンがDiesのほうが好きだったかな。ラスボス戦もうちょっと長くして欲しかった。

Feels like a Japanese style setting Dies Irae where they fixed some annoying parts about it. It's good from the beginning and I think I actually enjoyed the mysterious first half the most. The protagonists are badass and pretty active which I like. My favourite characters are Habaki, Yakou and Rindou

Can't claim I understood 100% of what happened, but it's a Masada eroge so I expected that. I started to miss the everyday life parts of Dies Irae a little bit. Last battle should've been longer

🤬🤬今天我们来扒一集《老鱼有话说》。这期视频完整体现了他一贯的险恶叙事技巧。
老鱼这一集看似是在“分析查理·柯克遇刺案”，但只要你稍微注意结构，就会发现：
他整集真正的目的不是讲案情，也不是客观分析，而是 削弱同情、模糊事实、抹黑 MAGA、暗示川普有责任。
我把他的套路按顺序拆给大家看——每一步都设计得非常精准。

一、第一步：把查理道德削弱，让观众先“不喜欢他”

老鱼用了将近半集，把查理描绘成一个“极端+煽动+没文化+撒谎+阴谋论”的混合体。

他列出的素材包括：

查理是“极端保守主义者”

反大学教育，认为大学会让人被左派洗脑

讲过“同理心是编造的”

捏造西点军校名额，被质疑后连续改口

说防疫措施是民主党针对基督教的阴谋

先赞 MLK，再说 MLK 不是好人

反疫苗、反气候变化、坚信大选造假

专门动员“没文化的老白男”

在大学里靠套路而不是逻辑获胜

操作年轻人情绪，属于煽动型人物

这些内容的目的很简单：
在讲死亡之前，先把查理“人性价值”压到最低。

这不是新闻，这是“提前削弱同情心”。
二、第二步：在讲枪击案时植入“因果报应”的暗示

枪击部分，他讲得非常具体——
不是为了还原现场，而是为了配合他下一句关键台词。

他强调：

枪手 180 米外
仅用一发子弹命中脖子

专业级暗杀

现场问答刚刚涉及跨性别议题

查理反问一句后立刻枪响

这些细节堆完，他突然抛出整集最阴险的一句：

“他可能没有想到，未来有一天，他自己会成为那个代价。”

这句话的逻辑链是：

查理曾公开说
“为了守护持枪自由，有些人被枪击是合理代价。”

于是老鱼现在暗示：
你支持别人被枪击是代价，你现在变成了那个代价。

没有说“活该”，但效果比“活该”还狠——
这是在把死亡合理化。

三、第三步：把公众自然会想到的“极左行凶”往外推
按常识，一个极右人物被射杀，
公众第一反应通常是极左报复或政治仇恨。

老鱼也知道这一点。
因此，他先说：
网上的讨论都指向极左
但是事情没有这么简单

他为什么要反转？
因为他要为下一步铺路——
把锅往 MAGA 内部推。
四、第四步：构建“查理之死是 MAGA 内部冲突”叙事

为了把嫌疑从左派移到 MAGA，他用了三个技术动作：

① 先削弱查理“忠于川普”的形象
他说：

查理本来支持建制派共和党
2016 初选时支持克鲁兹

不是天生的 MAGA
后来在小川普劝说下才加入阵营

还得罪过某些极端派
目的是让观众觉得：
查理不是绝对忠诚，因此可能“被处理”。
② 暗示查理影响力太大，会威胁 MAGA

他说查理：

在几个关键州发挥“汗马功劳”

在年轻人中影响巨大

最近对某些内部争议的立场“不受欢迎”

于是他抛出第二个危险暗示：
为了保护川普，有人可能把查理除掉。

这就是他的关键转折点。

③ 把查理之死描绘成“对川普有利”

他说：

查理之死能转移内部矛盾

能转移对其他党内事件的注意力
能让 MAGA 整体凝聚

能让川普提高支持率

“是一举多得的好事”

这个逻辑链最终得出的印象是：

查理之死，MAGA 获益最大。
既然获益最大，那嫌疑最大。

这就是他想带出来的潜意识效果。

五、第五步：用“表面反暴力”包装自己，最后把刀捅向川普
临近收尾，他装作客观地说：

用暴力解决问题是错的

暗杀破坏民主

社会不能沉迷于暴力

但刚立完“道德人设”，
他立即补上最后一刀：

川普才是纵容政治暴力的人，所以查理的死必然和他有关。

这样一来，整个逻辑闭环完成：

查理形象被贬低

死亡合理化

极左嫌疑被排除

MAGA 嫌疑被抬高
最终责任落到川普

一步不多，一步不少。
完全是经过设计的叙事工程。

总结一句话：

老鱼整集没有说“查理活该”，
但他通过 人设贬低 + 死亡合理化 + 嫌疑转移 + 最终归因川普 的结构，
让观众在不知不觉中接受了一个结论：

查理的死不值得同情，而且对川普和 MAGA 还有嫌疑。

这就是这一集真正的险恶用心。

🤬🤬Today I’m breaking down an episode of “Lao Yu Has Something to Say.”

This video fully exposes his usual manipulative narrative tactics.**

On the surface, Lao Yu pretends he is “analyzing the Charlie Kirk assassination.”
But once you look at the structure, it’s obvious:
His real goal is to weaken sympathy, distort the framing, smear MAGA, and subtly push responsibility onto President Trump.

Here’s the step-by-step breakdown of how he does it—every move is intentional.

1. Step One: Destroy Charlie’s character first, so the audience won’t sympathize later

Lao Yu spends nearly half the episode painting Charlie as a mix of
“extreme + manipulative + uneducated + dishonest + conspiracy-driven.”

He lists point after point:
“Extreme conservative”

Anti-college, claiming universities brainwash people

Said “empathy is a made-up term”

Made up a West Point story and changed his statements repeatedly

Claimed COVID church rules were a Democratic plot against Christianity

Praised MLK, then later said MLK was “not a good man”

Anti-vaccine, denies climate change, believes elections are rigged

Mobilizes “uneducated old white men”

Wins debates by tactics, not logic

A skilled emotional agitator targeting young people

The purpose is simple:
Lower Charlie’s moral value before discussing his death.

This isn’t news analysis.
It’s pre-emptive sympathy erosion.

2. Step Two: When describing the shooting, he inserts a “karma” implication
Lao Yu gives extremely detailed descriptions of the shooting—
not to reconstruct facts,
but to set up his most insidious sentence.

He emphasizes:
Shooter was 180 meters away

One single deadly shot

Professional-level assassination
Question on transgender mass shooters came right before
Charlie responded, and immediately the shot was fired

Then comes the key line of the whole episode:

“He probably never imagined that someday he would become that price.”

Here’s the implied logic:

Charlie once said
“Some people being shot is a reasonable price to protect gun rights.”

Now Lao Yu frames his death as that price.

He doesn’t say “he deserved it,”
but the implication is even heavier.

He is moralizing and rationalizing the killing.

3. Step Three: Push the audience away from the obvious ‘far-left attacker’ assumption

Normally, a far-right figure being assassinated would point toward
far-left hostility.

Lao Yu knows this.
So he says:

“Everyone online blames the far left,
but things are not that simple.”

He’s clearing the field for his next move:
shifting suspicion toward MAGA.
4. Step Four: Build a narrative that “this was MAGA’s internal conflict”

He uses several strategic moves:

① Undermine the idea that Charlie was loyal to President Trump

He claims:
Charlie originally supported establishment Republicans

Supported Ted Cruz in 2016

Was not “born MAGA”

Only joined after Trump Jr. convinced him
Recently upset hardliners

This prepares the idea that:
Charlie wasn’t fully aligned, so he could be eliminated.
② Suggest Charlie was “too influential” and a threat to some inside MAGA

He says Charlie:

Delivered key victories in swing states

Had huge influence among young voters

Recently took positions disliked by certain factions

Which leads him to float a dangerous insinuation:
“Maybe someone removed him to protect President Trump.”

This is the turning point of the episode.

③ Subtly argues Charlie’s death actually benefits President Trump

Lao Yu claims:

Charlie’s death diverts attention from internal GOP issues

Re-unifies MAGA
Shifts media narrative

Boosts President Trump’s support

“It achieves several goals at once”

The psychological effect is:

If MAGA benefits, then MAGA must be the suspect.

That is the subconscious conclusion he wants viewers to absorb.

5. Step Five: Pretend to condemn violence, then stab President Trump in the end
Near the end he suddenly adopts a moral tone:

“Violence is wrong”

“Assassinations undermine democracy”

“Society must reject violent solutions”

But as soon as he finishes this moral performance,
he drops the final accusation:

President Trump is the one who condones political violence,
so Charlie’s death is inevitably connected to him.

With that, his narrative loop is complete:

Destroy Charlie’s image

Rationalize his death

Remove far-left suspicion

Shift suspicion to MAGA

Blame President Trump directly

Every step is calculated.
Every step moves in one direction.

The bottom line:

Lao Yu never says “Charlie deserved it.”
But through character assassination + death moralization + suspect shifting + blame targeting President Trump,
he guides the audience toward one outcome:

Charlie’s death doesn’t deserve sympathy.
And the finger should point at MAGA and President Trump.

That is the true purpose of this episode.

Ladies and gentlemen,
 
I would like to extend a heartfelt welcome to all participants attending the 5th Asia Pacific Evaluation Association Conference and EvalVisionAsia 2025 held in Japan for the first time.
 
（ODA評価ワークショップの歴史、APEAの貢献）
Japan recognizes the importance of partnership in evaluation to effectively promote development cooperation in the Asia Pacific region.
From an early stage, Japan has focused on enhancing the evaluation capacity of partner countries.
Approximately a quarter century ago, in 2001, we held the first ODA Evaluation Workshop here in Tokyo.
For several years afterwards, these workshops provided a platform for stakeholders to gather and discuss evaluation networks. This culminated in the establishment of APEA（アペア）in 2012.
 
It is with great joy and deep emotion that we co-host with APEA the milestone 20th ODA Evaluation Workshop in Tokyo, as part of the 5th APEA Conference program.
 
Japan has continuously supported the establishment of APEA and its activities. We have provided a platform to share experiences and knowledge in evaluation, and invited government officials from the Asia Pacific region to engage in discussions about evaluation.

Against this backdrop, in December 2020, the Asia Pacific Regional Evaluation Strategy was formulated by APEA, EvalYouth Asia, the Parliamentarians Forum for Development Evaluation – South Asia, and other key partners through an inclusive process.
This is a groundbreaking achievement. This strategy aims to promote the use of evaluation to address the urgent issues in the Asia Pacific region, while also contributing positively to national development goals and the SDGs across the region.
 
APEA’s activities contribute to the human resource development cooperation that Japan has been working on. Furthermore, Japan and APEA have been working to foster the cultivation of an evaluation culture throughout the region.

APEA’s contribution to promoting Japan's international cooperation has been recognized, and this year, it received the Foreign Minister's Commendation. I would like to extend my sincerest congratulations.

We stand here today against the backdrop of compounded crises, including Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the ongoing situation in the Middle East, and global issues such as infectious diseases and climate change.
A decade has passed since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which includes the SDGs, yet these crises present unprecedented challenges for the global community in achieving these goals.

However, we remain connected with one another more than ever, including through the challenges we share.
Japan has long placed the values of co-creation and equal partnership at the core of our international cooperation framework, including in evaluation.
