このたび、スリランカを直撃したサイクロンにより多くの尊い命が失われたことに、深い悲しみを覚えております。
犠牲になられた方々に哀悼の意を表するとともに、御遺族の皆様に謹んでお悔やみ申し上げます。

我が国は、人道的観点及びスリランカとの友好関係に鑑み、被災者の方々を支援すべく、国際協力機構（JICA）を通じて調査チームを派遣するとともに、緊急援助物資を供与することを決定いたしました。

被害に遭われた方々の一日も早い御回復と被災地の早期復興をお祈り申し上げます。

I am deeply saddened by the loss of many precious lives caused by the cyclone that hit Sri Lanka. I express my deep condolences to the victims and the bereaved families.
Based on a humanitarian perspective and in view of our friendly relations with Sri Lanka, Japan has decided to dispatch an assessment team and provide emergency relief goods to support those who are affected by the cyclone through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
I offer my sincere prayers for the earliest possible recovery of the injured and the reconstruction of disaster-stricken areas.

BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKEの2025/26年秋冬シーズンのキービジュアルや店頭のウィンドウディスプレイのデザインを、大黒デザイン研究室が行いました。
2025/26年秋冬シーズン、9月のアイテムは三角ピースで表現されたグラフィカルな生き物たちが醸し出す、ユニークな世界観の「WONDER」です。「魚／海藻」、「イカ／イカ墨」、「クジラ／大きな胴体」、「ヘビ／長い胴体」、「ゾウ／水しぶき」、「モグラ／掘った穴」柄の6種類のトートバッグには、それぞれ生き物と、その個性を象徴するモチーフがデザインされています。表と裏で異なる表情を楽しめるだけでなく、裏面のモチーフから生き物を想像する遊び心も込められています。
We are excited to share that Daikoku Design Institute created the key visuals and window displays for BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE AUTUMN WINTER 2025/26 season.September's new series is "WONDER" — a unique world of graphical creatures expressed through triangular pieces.The six tote bags feature playful designs: Fish/Seaweed, Squid/Ink, Whale/Large Body, Snake/Long Body, Elephant/Splash, and Mole/Dug Hole.Each bag shows both the creature and a symbolic motif of its character — with different expressions on the front and back, and a touch of imagination that lets you picture the animal from its motif.
