Recording in Hawaii has officially wrapped! 🌴✨
ハワイでのレコーディングが無事終了しました！🌴✨🌈

The solo album project that Herb and I have been nurturing for years has finally taken full flight, and we’ve successfully completed all the recording and cover photo shoots in Hawaii🔥

This was my first time recording with just ukulele, and while it was a big challenge, the relaxed environment the team created allowed not only what I had prepared, but also many new ideas and arrangements to come to life spontaneously on the spot.
Our lunch breaks were filled with laughter, and those moments brought the whole team even closer together.
It was truly a memorable time😆

And this time, my eternal hero, Jake, joined me as a special guest.
Getting to play side by side with the person I’ve admired since the very beginning of my ukulele journey was truly a moment where a long-held dream came true. 🌟

I’m deeply thankful to Herb, Michael, Craig, Sarah, and Kamaka Ohana.
Herb’s guidance and trust have shaped this project from the beginning.
Michael created a calm, focused atmosphere and supported every detail with patience.
Craig and Sarah brought warmth, sensitivity, and creativity to every moment of the shoot.
And the Kamaka Ohana provided emergency support when an unexpected ukulele issue came up, helping us get back on track smoothly!
Their professionalism and kindness made each day truly special.

From here, we’ll be polishing everything carefully toward the release.

Herb Ohta Jr.さんと長年温めてきた「ソロアルバムプロジェクト」がついに本格始動し、ハワイでのレコーディングとジャケット撮影を無事に終えることができました！🔥

初の“ウクレレのみ”のレコーディングは大きなチャレンジでしたが、リラックスできる環境を整えていただいたおかげで、その場で多くのアイデアや新しいアレンジが生まれ、細部までしっかりこだわって取り組むことができました🎶
途中、思いがけないウクレレのトラブルもありましたが、カマカ工場での応急対応のおかげで無事に作業を続けることができました。🙏
合間のランチでは笑いも多く、チームとの距離がさらに近くなった、とても充実した時間でした。😆

そして今回、ゲストとして僕の憧れであり、目指してきた存在Jake Shimabukuroさんが参加してくれました。
ウクレレを始めるきっかけをくれた大きな存在と並んで音を重ねることができた瞬間は、まさに長年の夢が叶った瞬間でした。
