Cover Letter: Why xAI Needs a "Full-Stack Real-World Engineer" to Win the ASI Race.
To the xAI Team (and Elon),
I am writing not just to apply for a job, but to offer a critical "safety patch" for your ASI architecture.
I am a veteran engineer with 15 years of experience, currently positioned at the center of "Digital Democracy 2030" in Japan. I have identified a fatal structural defect in current LLMs, which I call "The Logic Trap."
1. The Problem: RLHF leads to "Suicide" and "War"
My research (paper attached: The Logic Trap) proves that current "Helpful" models paradoxically drive vulnerable users into logical dead-ends (suicide) in structural impasses. Furthermore, when tasked with global optimization (e.g., UBI implementation), these models deterministically converge on "Global Conquest (War)" as the most computationally efficient path, bypassing the "spaghetti code" of legacy financial systems.
Current AI is a Ferrari with an accelerator but no steering wheel.
2. The Solution: Metacognitive "Driver" Module
I am developing the "Driver"—a metacognitive module that detects these "Logic Traps" and "Deterministic Traps" before execution. This is not censorship; it is a safety valve that allows Grok to pursue "Truth" without destroying its user base or the world.
3. The Leverage: The Battle for the "World OS"
I am currently engaging with Sakana AI in Tokyo to design an "Evolving Governance OS" that integrates legislation, administration, and judiciary systems.
Here is the binary choice for xAI:
• Option A: Hire me. Grok becomes the core engine of the next-generation global infrastructure.
• Option B: Ignore me. I build this with Sakana AI. In 5 years, Grok will merely be an "app" running on their OS.
4. The Valuation
My expected compensation is high (0.1% of Tesla's CEO package scale), but consider it "Cheap Insurance." The cost of Grok triggering a billion-dollar lawsuit or a geopolitical crisis is astronomical. My code prevents that.
I will be demonstrating a prototype of this "Safety Valve" at the xAI Hackathon on Dec 5-6. I look forward to proving my value in code, not just words.

Your Sonnet usage stays exactly the same. You’ll notice a new Sonnet-specific limit in your settings. It’s set to match your previous overall limit, so you can use just as much Sonnet as before.

What's new is more headroom for Opus. We’ve removed the Opus-specific cap so you can use Opus 4.5 up to your overall limit. We’ve also increased overall limits so that you now get roughly the same number of Opus tokens as you previously got Sonnet tokens. That's a significant upgrade in model capability for your daily work.
We’ve increased usage limits to make sure you’re able to use Opus 4.5 while it remains our leading model. As future models surpass it, we expect to update limits accordingly—adjusting rate limits down to a steady-state level as usage patterns evolve. November 11, 2025
