WINDFUHR is a Berlin-based artist and resident DJ of Eerste Communie, one of the most sought-after collectives in the world today. The collective also includes internationally acclaimed artists such as Rene Wise, MARRØN, and Ignez. With roots in Guadeloupe, a French overseas region, Windfuhr draws inspiration from Gwo Ka, a traditional musical culture that fuses drums and dance into a unified expression of sound and movement. His work continually explores the deep connection between dance, spirit, and music. In recent years, he has performed at top venues such as Tresor and Bassiani, earning global recognition for his distinctive style. This will be WINDFUHR’s first appearance on DOMMUNE, and his set is absolutely not to be missed.

●WINDFUHR
Windfuhr is a Berlin based DJ and Eerste Communie resident. Guided by the rhythm of drums, his musical journey is defined by hypnotic introspections and consistent energy flow. It is precisely the union of these elements which allows the mind to wander and the body to keep moving. A strictly warm and organic sound, dominated by low frequencies and percussive elements is Windfuhr’s signature touch. Music as a tool - to explore himself and to build a dialogue with the audience. His Guadeloupean heritage enables him to capture and adapt the musical tradition of `Gwo Ka‘ - which in Creole means “big drum”- into each one of his mixes. Gwo Ka is the combination of sound and movement through the rhythms played on the drums and the dances of the audience. In its traditional form, drummers and dancers merge into an infinite interaction of rhythms and gestures giving life to a communal performance. Inspired by his roots, Windfuhr translates this tradition into contemporary soundscapes with the aim to emphasize the connection between dance, spirit and music. The philosophy of communication through sound lies at the roots of his passion: by reading and understanding the energy of the dancers, he becomes their shadow and allows the creation of a story where everyone is the author. To connect with people but also to disconnect from reality sums up his commitment to this form of art.

To everyone confused about the recent “LingOrm vs OrmLing” talk on X – let me explain in the simplest way ♡

There is actually no war. It’s just a tiny cultural difference.

Chinese fans (who love LingOrm the most, they call it 世一CP = the best CP in the world) just enjoy BOTH directions:
- Normal days → Lingling protects Orm (classic LO 🫶)
- Sweet/kiss moments → they love when Orm suddenly becomes the cool one and Lingling goes all shy and soft (that’s the OL they cheer for)

It’s like wanting to see your favorite BL couple switch once in a while – just for fun, never to replace the original.

Thai & intl fans are more used to the natural LingOrm energy we’ve seen for 2 years, so when some people shout “OrmLing” very loudly at events, they worry it might make Orm shy (she did look a bit confused/awkward a few times). That’s why some of us ask to keep it chill on stage.

Both sides want the exact same thing: Lingling & Orm happy together.

And guess what? The girls already settled it in Macau:
