アルバム『Cyberia Layer:07』のマスタリング作業に入ります。全12曲。今年も全て揃いました。今日の作業で、全体の音質・音量バランスを整えて納品します。

毎年あらかじめある程度曲のデッサンを作っておくのですが、安倍吉俊さんのイラストが届いた瞬間にコンセプトが閃くため、そこから約2か月で12曲を殆ど一から一気に制作します。寝ても覚めても曲作り。そんな日々とも今日でお別れ。あとは楽しんで作業をするだけです。

リリースはもう少し先ですが、今週金曜から始まる配信で、収録曲の中からどんどんかけていきます。

I’m starting the mastering work for the album Cyberia Layer:07.
All 12 tracks are finally ready this year as well.
Today’s session is where I adjust the overall sound quality and loudness balance before delivering the final masters.

Every year I sketch out rough ideas for the tracks in advance, but the moment Yoshitoshi ABe’s illustration arrives, the whole concept clicks. From there, I end up creating all 12 tracks almost from scratch over the next two months—making music whether I’m awake or asleep. Today is the last day of that routine. From here on, I can simply enjoy the final polishing.

The release is still a little ways off, but starting from this Friday’s stream, I’ll be playing more and more tracks from the album.
