🎆 クリスマス・年末年始の特別イベント
この時期のニセコは、異国情緒あふれる華やかな雰囲気に包まれます。

クリスマス花火 & サンタ登場：
12月25日： ニセコビレッジやHANAZONOでサンタクロースがお菓子を配ったり、夜には豪華な花火が打ち上がります。

カウントダウン & 元旦：
12月31日： 各ゲレンデでカウントダウン花火や「たいまつ滑走」が行われます。
1月1日： 「初日の出ゴンドラ」（ビレッジ等）で、羊蹄山から昇るご来光を拝めます。また、多くのホテルで餅つきや獅子舞などの倭国文化体験も用意されています。

⚠️ 準備と注意点
気温と服装： 山頂付近は -10℃以下 になることも珍しくありません。**「吸汗速乾インナー＋フリース＋ダウン＋撥水アウター」**のレイヤリングを徹底し、顔を覆うネックウォーマーや耳まで隠れるニット帽も必須です。

予約の重要性： 年末年始のニセコは世界中から観光客が集まるため、人気のレストランは数週間前からの事前予約がないと入れないことも多いです。

移動： 12月〜1月は積雪が多く、路面も凍結します。レンタカーの場合は必ず4WDかつ冬道の運転に慣れた方が運転するようにしてください。

🎆 Christmas & New Year Special Events
During this season, Niseko is filled with a vibrant, international atmosphere.
Christmas Fireworks & Santa Appearances:
December 25: At Niseko Village and HANAZONO, Santa Claus hands out sweets, and spectacular fireworks light up the night sky.

Countdown & New Year’s Day:
December 31: Countdown fireworks and traditional torchlight skiing are held at each ski area.
January 1: Enjoy the “First Sunrise Gondola” (at Niseko Village and other areas) and witness the sunrise over Mt. Yotei. Many hotels also offer Japanese cultural experiences such as mochi pounding and lion dance performances.
⚠️ Preparation & Important Tips
Temperature & Clothing:
Temperatures near the summit often drop below –10°C (14°F). Proper layering is essential:
moisture-wicking base layer + fleece + down jacket + water-repellent outer shell.
A neck warmer that covers your face and a knit hat that covers your ears are must-haves.
Reservations Are Essential:
During the Christmas and New Year period, Niseko attracts visitors from all over the world. Popular restaurants often require reservations made several weeks in advance.
Transportation:
Heavy snowfall and icy roads are common from December to January. If you rent a car, make sure it’s 4WD, and only drive if you’re experienced with winter road conditions.
