Chasing Blurry Linesの後は
永遠前夜へ
冒頭のMATRIXとは違い
今度は浅めにフードをかぶり
優しいタッチでピアノを奏でる

アジアツアー最後のバンコク公演では
このフードを使った視覚的な演出が
非常に効果的だったと思う

MATRIXでは目深にかぶることで
この曲の魅力であるエッジの強さや
鋭さを表現した
それはグラスハート2話の日比谷野音で
初めてTENBLANKが世界にむけて
存在を示したあの衝撃や
ヒリヒリとした熱いものを彷彿とさせたし
相反するように永遠前夜では
前髪と表情がしっかりと見えるように
あえて浅くかぶり
藤谷直季という人の奥底にある
愛情や優しさのような温かい部分を
観客にしっかりと植えつけていた

この天才的な演出を考えだした経緯や
実際にわたしが受けた印象が

もう本当に演れる曲がないよ と言いつつ
一回歌った曲だけど と
アンコールの締めくくりに選んだのは
約束のうた

ぴあアリーナから
アジアツアーのバンコク公演まで
TENBLANKファンミーティングにおいて
アンコールでいつも歌われてきたこの曲
（ぴあ夜の部でもう一曲やろうと志尊くんの提案で歌ったChasing Blurry Linesは除く）
「テンブランクとみんなが
またいつか必ず会う日まで元気でいよう」
その誓いのためにたけるくんは
今日までこだわって
歌い続けてきたのだと思う

この時の
「本当にこれが最後ね」という言葉を
彼はどんな想いで言っていたのだろう
わたしもすごく寂しいけど
たけるくんのほうがもっともっと長く
グラスハートと向き合ってきたから
その重みは決して計り知れないものだった

そんな空気を吹き飛ばすように
約束のうたのイントロが始まった
思い残すことがないようにと
力強いパフォーマンスをみせるたけるくん
観客もリズムに乗って一緒に口ずさみ
最後の曲を盛り上げる
すると二番のサビに入る手前のところで
たけるくんの歌声と
バンドメンバーの演奏が明らかにずれた

たけるくんが先に歌った部分に
だいぶ遅れて演奏がおいつく様な状況が起き
二番のサビに入ったところで
すかさず歌うのを止めた
「イヤモニがバグってる。ごめん、最初からやり直したい」と伝え
約束のうたは仕切り直しすることになった

実はこの日のライブの序盤
旋律と結晶か約束のうたか 記憶が曖昧だが
一瞬イヤモニが不調なのか？と思うシーンを
わたしは見ていた
だからアンコールのラストで
イヤモニが完全にバグってしまったことを
たけるくんから聞いて
やっぱりあれもそうだったのかなと思った
まさにライブは生モノ
こんなハプニングですら貴重な想い出として
わたしの中にずっと残っていく

妥協せずに
ちゃんとしたものを届けたいという
たけるくんの信念で
約束のうたは再度やり直しになったが
歌の途中でまた再び
イヤモニの不調を思わせるシーンがあった
そのような事態にも今度は動じず
たけるくんは最後まで歌いきった
表情から察するにあの部分は
恐らくちゃんと聞こえてなかったのでは？
しかし最後は
持ち前のプロ根性とテクニックで
この日で一番に観客を熱狂させた

最大級の拍手と歓声に包まれながら
たけるくんは舞台を後にした
ステージのスクリーンには
エンディングのLucky Meとともに
氷川神社の絵馬が流れる

距離にして東京から4600km
気温30度を超えるバンコクでの
熱いTENBLANKアジアツアーファイナルが
こうして幕を閉じた

中学生の頃、ご両親の仕事の関係でタイ・バンコクにいらっしゃった田内さん🇹🇭
当時のバンコクは世界中からバックパッカーが集まってきて、街のいたる所でストリートライブをやっていて、そこで＜生のギターの音＞を聴いて刺激を受けたんだそう😊

当時好きだったのは The Beatles で、お小遣いをはたいて、1枚1枚アルバムを買い揃えていったそう💿
また、3つ上のお姉さんが洋楽好きで、Oasis や The Rolling Stones、KISS、Eric Clapton、Blur など部屋にある大量のCDを聴いていたんだそうです🎵

好きな音楽が“歌モノ”なのだそうですが、銀座のバーで＜流し＞をしていた時に、そのお店で流れていたインストゥルメンタルや JAZZ など、歌詞は無いけどサウンドによって映像が浮かんでくるようなサウンドが好きになって、最近よく聴いておられるそうです🎼

そして今回、1989年製の＜マーティン HD-28＞を弾いて披露して頂いたのは、#サザンオールスターズ の1992年リリースのアルバム『#世に万葉の花が咲くなり』に収録されている『#慕情』のカバーでした♪

そして田内洵也さんは 11/19（水）に、“流し”として演奏をしていた Bar の常連客の一人が #桑田佳祐 さんだった…という奇跡の出会いから生まれた楽曲、『深川のアッコちゃん（produced by 夏 螢介 a.k.a. KUWATA KEISUKE）』を、#タワーレコード 限定シングルとしてリリースされました🎉
