🤬🤬Today I’m breaking down an episode of “Lao Yu Has Something to Say.”
This video fully exposes his usual manipulative narrative tactics.**
On the surface, Lao Yu pretends he is “analyzing the Charlie Kirk assassination.”
But once you look at the structure, it’s obvious:
His real goal is to weaken sympathy, distort the framing, smear MAGA, and subtly push responsibility onto President Trump.
Here’s the step-by-step breakdown of how he does it—every move is intentional.
1. Step One: Destroy Charlie’s character first, so the audience won’t sympathize later
Lao Yu spends nearly half the episode painting Charlie as a mix of
“extreme + manipulative + uneducated + dishonest + conspiracy-driven.”
He lists point after point:
“Extreme conservative”
Anti-college, claiming universities brainwash people
Said “empathy is a made-up term”
Made up a West Point story and changed his statements repeatedly
Claimed COVID church rules were a Democratic plot against Christianity
Praised MLK, then later said MLK was “not a good man”
Anti-vaccine, denies climate change, believes elections are rigged
Mobilizes “uneducated old white men”
Wins debates by tactics, not logic
A skilled emotional agitator targeting young people
The purpose is simple:
Lower Charlie’s moral value before discussing his death.
This isn’t news analysis.
It’s pre-emptive sympathy erosion.
2. Step Two: When describing the shooting, he inserts a “karma” implication
Lao Yu gives extremely detailed descriptions of the shooting—
not to reconstruct facts,
but to set up his most insidious sentence.
He emphasizes:
Shooter was 180 meters away
One single deadly shot
Professional-level assassination
Question on transgender mass shooters came right before
Charlie responded, and immediately the shot was fired
Then comes the key line of the whole episode:
“He probably never imagined that someday he would become that price.”
Here’s the implied logic:
Charlie once said
“Some people being shot is a reasonable price to protect gun rights.”
Now Lao Yu frames his death as that price.
He doesn’t say “he deserved it,”
but the implication is even heavier.
He is moralizing and rationalizing the killing.
3. Step Three: Push the audience away from the obvious ‘far-left attacker’ assumption
Normally, a far-right figure being assassinated would point toward
far-left hostility.
Lao Yu knows this.
So he says:
“Everyone online blames the far left,
but things are not that simple.”
He’s clearing the field for his next move:
shifting suspicion toward MAGA.
4. Step Four: Build a narrative that “this was MAGA’s internal conflict”
He uses several strategic moves:
① Undermine the idea that Charlie was loyal to President Trump
He claims:
Charlie originally supported establishment Republicans
Supported Ted Cruz in 2016
Was not “born MAGA”
Only joined after Trump Jr. convinced him
Recently upset hardliners
This prepares the idea that:
Charlie wasn’t fully aligned, so he could be eliminated.
② Suggest Charlie was “too influential” and a threat to some inside MAGA
He says Charlie:
Delivered key victories in swing states
Had huge influence among young voters
Recently took positions disliked by certain factions
Which leads him to float a dangerous insinuation:
“Maybe someone removed him to protect President Trump.”
This is the turning point of the episode.
③ Subtly argues Charlie’s death actually benefits President Trump
Lao Yu claims:
Charlie’s death diverts attention from internal GOP issues
Re-unifies MAGA
Shifts media narrative
Boosts President Trump’s support
“It achieves several goals at once”
The psychological effect is:
If MAGA benefits, then MAGA must be the suspect.
That is the subconscious conclusion he wants viewers to absorb.
5. Step Five: Pretend to condemn violence, then stab President Trump in the end
Near the end he suddenly adopts a moral tone:
“Violence is wrong”
“Assassinations undermine democracy”
“Society must reject violent solutions”
But as soon as he finishes this moral performance,
he drops the final accusation:
President Trump is the one who condones political violence,
so Charlie’s death is inevitably connected to him.
With that, his narrative loop is complete:
Destroy Charlie’s image
Rationalize his death
Remove far-left suspicion
Shift suspicion to MAGA
Blame President Trump directly
Every step is calculated.
Every step moves in one direction.
The bottom line:
Lao Yu never says “Charlie deserved it.”
But through character assassination + death moralization + suspect shifting + blame targeting President Trump,
he guides the audience toward one outcome:
Charlie’s death doesn’t deserve sympathy.
And the finger should point at MAGA and President Trump.
That is the true purpose of this episode.

Stone
Stone
Stone
Stone
Stone
Stone
Stone
Stone
Stone
Stone
Stone
Understood.
Here is the pure English version, tightened, punchy, and written exactly in your established X-thread exposé style — no Chinese, no slogans, and no AI-tone.
This is your 23rd installment dissecting Stone’s propaganda video about “Made in China 2025.”
23rd Installment
Stone’s Propaganda Breakdown:
How He Turned Huang Qifan’s 2025 Speech Into a CCP “Total Victory” Narrative
Stone’s new video claims:
“China is truly confident again. Huang Qifan reintroduces Made in China 2025.
Trump’s containment totally failed.”
This is not economic analysis.
This is a carefully packaged piece of CCP external propaganda designed to give Beijing psychological victory, rewrite the trade war narrative, and reassure overseas Chinese that the Party is “winning.”
Below is the detailed breakdown of Stone’s tactics — concrete, logical, and evidence-based.
1. He begins by locking in the conclusion
Stone opens with:
China is confident
China completed Made in China 2025
Trump’s containment “completely failed”
He decides the verdict before presenting any facts.
This is a classic propaganda structure:
Simplify a complex geopolitical conflict into a binary outcome.
Assign blame (“Trump failed”).
Assign victory (“CCP succeeded”).
Use a CCP official’s speech as “proof.”
The entire trade war gets reduced to:
China still exports → therefore Trump lost → therefore the CCP won.
This is not analysis.
This is narrative engineering.
2. He treats Huang Qifan’s political speech as unquestionable fact
Huang Qifan claimed:
“96% of Made in China 2025 goals were exceeded.”
“4% basically completed.”
“Everything will reach 100% this year.”
Stone doesn’t question:
What these metrics actually are
How they were measured
Who verified them
Whether they include falsified local reports
Whether “completion” refers to scale, technology, or bureaucratic paperwork
He simply repeats the numbers and elevates them:
“This is full victory.”
“This is the final chapter.”
“This proves Trump failed 100%.”
Stone converts CCP political KPIs — often inflated, unverifiable, and designed for internal morale — into “objective outcomes.”
That’s propaganda work, not journalism.
3. He cherry-picks the easiest numbers to brag about
Stone highlights two things:
A. China’s car exports
He repeats:
China is the world’s largest auto exporter
Chinese engines have “world-leading thermal efficiency”
China achieved a “breakthrough”
What he hides:
Massive subsidies driving prices below cost
Huge overcapacity
EU and U.S. anti-dumping investigations
Safety and reliability issues
The fact that domestic demand collapsed, forcing companies to dump abroad
Fleet buyers (ride-share, rental companies) absorbing excess inventory
None of this suggests “technological leadership.”
It suggests a distorted, debt-driven industrial push.
B. China’s chip output
Stone claims:
China produced 0 billion worth of chips
Half exported
Therefore the U.S. blockade “totally failed”
Reality:
Nearly all of these chips are mature-node (28nm+), low-margin products
China remains dependent on foreign lithography, EDA software, materials
Advanced AI chips are still banned
The U.S. export controls never targeted low-end chips
Overcapacity is already visible inside China
He blurs “high quantity” with “high capability.”
That’s deliberate misdirection.
4. He reframes China’s economic pain as “necessary sacrifice”
This is Stone’s most manipulative move.
He acknowledges layoffs and industrial shifts,
but immediately reframes them as:
“structural upgrading”
“temporary shocks”
“ unavoidable restructuring”
“required for national progress”
What he avoids entirely:
Youth unemployment
Collapsing private sector
Factory closures
Capital flight
Local government debt crisis
Real estate wipeouts
Shrinking middle class
Depressed wages
Stone’s message:
If you lose your job or your savings, accept it —
it’s for “national upgrading.”
This is the same moral pressure used by authoritarian regimes:
citizens absorb the pain; the ruling class claims the victory.
**5. He uses the CCP’s favorite logic trap:
“Western criticism proves China is right.”**
Near the end, Stone argues:
India and South Africa are “praised by the West,” therefore they are weak
China is “criticized,” therefore China is strong and choosing the right path
This logic turns all external criticism —
about dumping, IP theft, subsidies, human rights, debt, or coercive trade —
into a badge of honor.
Under this framing:
Every sanction = proof of strength
Every warning = proof of success
Every trade barrier = proof of “Western fear”
This is how propaganda immunizes a regime from accountability:
Nothing the outside world says can ever be valid.
Everything negative becomes a compliment.
Stone is simply exporting that mindset to overseas Chinese.
6. What Stone was actually doing — the real objective
Strip the video to its essence, and Stone delivers four coordinated political messages:
(1) Rehabilitate Xi’s decade of industrial policy
Present debt, overcapacity, and tech stagnation as “strategic victories.”
(2) Declare Made in China 2025 as “fully accomplished”
Regardless of unresolved technological bottlenecks.
(3) Rewrite the trade war
Insist that the U.S. “failed completely,”
even while semiconductors, AI hardware, and supply chains remain deeply restricted.
(4) Provide psychological comfort for pro-CCP audiences abroad
Tell them that China is “winning,”
despite unemployment, capital flight, and a shrinking economy inside China.
That’s Stone’s role:
convert CCP political messaging into polished overseas content
for people who don’t read primary sources.
7. Why this matters
Stone isn’t shouting slogans.
He’s far more dangerous precisely because he sounds:
calm
analytical
data-driven
reasonable
