年の最後に感じたことを。
あやみさんとまよちゃんとの出会いについて。

Before I realized it, September had arrived, and the day came for Ayami and Mayo to leave Toronto.
Only three months had passed since we met, yet within that brief span of time, each of our lives was set into motion by moments that would change us in lasting ways. We were simply doing our best to move forward each day—living earnestly, leaving our footprints wherever we could.

To live without regret, to treat each day as something irreplaceable—sharing time with people who hold these values as something natural felt deeply meaningful. Those moments reminded me of what it means to truly live.

Strangely, it never felt like a goodbye. Instead, my thoughts were filled with anticipation for what lies ahead for them, and for us. Just imagining the next time we meet, and the new stories we will have to share, fills me with excitement. Where will we meet again, and in what season of our lives?

As we grow older, making new friends becomes rare, and meeting people with whom we can share the deepest parts of our lives is even rarer. Yet the four of us were connected by something simple and profound: each of us has something precious to protect, people and passions we dearly love, and above all, a shared wish for others to feel happiness.

To have met such remarkable people feels nothing short of a gift.
Because of them, 2025 has become a year I will carry with me—quietly, deeply, and with gratitude.
