予約してたライカSL3 Reporter届いた。レンズはLeica Vario-Elmarit-SL 1:2.8/28-70 ASPHを合わせて。Sigma fp-Lで使ってるSigma CONTEMPORARY 28-70mm F2.8 DG DNとカタログみた限りレンズ構成とかで全く同じでOEMかと読めたけど、比較用にSL3 Reporter用にVario-Elmarit-SL 1:2.8/28-70 ASPHも買ってみた。昨日色々と両方のレンズで撮って比べてみたけど、コーティングとかは違うのかも知れないけど、撮った限りは写りに差は感じなかった。Sigmaの方が100g軽いからお出かけ用はSigmaレンズにしようかと。

ライカのマニュアルMレンズもSL3 Reporterに付けて色々試したけど、写りはM EV1やM11-Pと変わらなかった。同じソニー製センサーで同じアルゴリズムだからかと。Mボディの方がMレンズに特化してるはずだけど、SL-3でも特に違いは感じられなかった。

MレンズをL-Mountに変換するアダプターは何社か試したけど、ライカ純正以外はISOオートが効かなかった。マニュアルでMレンズの相当ものを指定しても同じ。だからMレンズはライカの純正アダプターを使うことになる。

SL3 Reporter は赤ライカバッジないし、LEICAロゴも黒いし使いやすい。MはM8からライカ赤ロゴは軍用滑り止めテープで隠してる。

ダークグリーンのボディもいい。昨日の感じだと、今使ってるM11-P SafariとM EV1はライカMレンズ用、SL-3 ReporterはSigmaレンズ用がいいかと。L-MountはSigmaとPanasonic使ってるけど、今後はSL-3 Reporterになるかと。早速、最近の明るいSigmaレンズをいくつか昨夜オーダーした。オートフォーカスの明るいレンズは大きすぎてPanasonicやSigmaにバランスよくなさそうだったので。

写真で、SL-3 “Reporter”に付いてるのがライカ バリオ・エルマリートSL f2.8/28-70mm。横に立ってるのが、Sigma CONTEMPORARY 28-70mm F2.8 DG DN。何枚か写した限りは同じ写り。デザインは慣れたライカがいいけど、100g軽いのはシグマがありがたい。
